Spoiler: Tree 3 (click to show/hide)
Anybody know what types of trees these are?

The first one could be an acacia as far as I can see.

The second is almost certainly a Pride of Barbados.

First one almost looks like a palo verde that I linked to earlier, but without the green bark. Doesn't seem to be mesquite, either.
Yes, that's it. The picture was taken near sunset. You can see the green where the light hits the branches sticking out of the trunk.

The second is almost certainly a Pride of Barbados.
Seems like it. The leaves in my picture are a bit darker and the stems redder, which would likely be due to age. The thing's practically toppled over and growing sideways.

I'll see if I can get a better picture of the third tree's leaves and samaras tomorrow. The tree's frickin' huge though. Like four stories. (Could maybe be an ash?)

Here's the close-up of the leafs and samaras from Tree 3:
Spoiler: Tree 3 (click to show/hide)
Edit: Looks very much like an ash tree.

There's a tree here that looks like a Jacaranda, but the flowers are different:
Spoiler: Tree 4 (click to show/hide)
Maybe it just hasn't bloomed yet. There's a purple Jacaranda in full bloom right near it. (Some bees were trying to pollinate the flowers that had already fallen to the ground. Stupid bees.)
Edit: It's Albizia julibrissin (Mimosa / Persian silk tree.)

Here's a tree I don't appreciate:
Spoiler: Tree 5 (click to show/hide)
It leafs leaves sticky crap all over the sidewalk. (Edit: The dreaded Ficus, maybe? The flowers don't seem to match.)
Edit: Evil, thy name is kurrajong. Brachychiton populneus.

That's awesome Bumblebee :)

PTW!
I appreciate all the pine trees around my home--less so the pollen which gets everywhere. >_< But it makes a beautiful morning even more beautiful, mixed with the sunset and sunrise.

I should get a picture one day.

Pear trees. Hold the partridge.

Also a big fan of maple and oak, since where I grew up they were all over the place.

I googled pine pollen and the results are a bunch of super shady "eating this stuff is the secret to a long, healthy life" kind of sites. It's also called "nature's testosterone" sometimes which doesn't make any sense. Testosterone is nature's testosterone.

Asian pine trees at least tend to release thick yellow clouds of pollen that coats everything in a layer of yellow treekake.
