cant help in mechanics.
I wont say shield is SO big a threat, my problem - my magic is mostly against ranged.

It depends on what spells you use. Large ice spikes would go right through his shield like a ballista bolt, a T5 fireball would destroy it and probably the hand holding it, and even a T1 Bolt would destroy a small part of the shield. Protip: A normal Ice Spike does more piercing damage than a spear.

New rule (and clarification) - In order to get behind someone's defences, said attempt must be stated as one's actions. On failure, it gives the defender +2 to defence.

This is a Defend action. Basically, you just get +3 to your defence. Are you sure that's what you want?

i need + to dodge. Even +1 worth.
or is it a "dodge" skill???

The Dodge skill increases your defence when dodging. At the moment, it's at T0 and provides no bonus.The only reasons I can think of to do a Defend action is to replenish mana and recover from injuries. So, are you sure you want to go through with this?

Because I'm giving so many tips to Delekates, here's one for you, NAV: axes are the best weapon when it comes to dismembering.

Deciding to take a gamble, you cast T2 Ice Spike despite only knowing T1, [10] perfectly executing it. [9 vs 4+2(DEX)+5(Shield)+1(Skill)]  [6 vs 1+2(DEX)+5(Shield)+1(Skill)] Both Ice Spikes hit his shield rather harmlessly, though.

Vander
The mage once again useless fires her Ice Spikes at you and once again you easily block them with your shield, though they do seem to be weighing you down now. You finally decide to end this with a well-aimed strike to the head, [5+1(Skill) vs 1+2(AGI)] [1] nicking her forehead a tiny bit. Darn.

Delekates, you haven't failed initiative in ages and I highly suggest trying to get behind Vander.

Shieldbash Delekates with my shield, trying to knock him down and stab him with those spikes stuck in it.
If shieldbashing isn't an option, then dismember him with the axe.

imo even if my ice blast have any piercing, i dont get it how then shield is still OK.
in GMs version as i understand u need magic like this shield to just destroy it.

That mage finally managed to get past you and land a blow on you - a pretty nasty blow. Enraged, you [10+2(DEX)+1(Skill)-1(bleeding out) 10+2(AGI) = critical cancelled] launch an amazingly quick shield bash which Delekates manages to miraculously backflip away from!

Ho-ly crap I did not expect the result of that shield bash! I rolled how much damage that attack would've done if it had managed to hit. Delekates, you're lucky you managed to get that strike in and make him bleed, otherwise you'd be lying on the ground on your back, winded, and probably dead the next turn. Two 10's! Damn!

They all hit in different places on the shield. A few ice spikes need to hit the same part of the shield to permanently break off that specific part of the shield. As well as being the best weapons when it comes to dismembering, axes are also the best weapons when it comes to breaking shields. Spears and swords are the worst weapons for doing so.
