I don't know whether to laugh or cry. But I definitely lost all my respect for the guy :P
He is a farmer. If you scorn the peasant, you'll suffer the Effigy. We'll see.

I mean... cough yes, exactly, very disrespectable.

Me miserable! which way shall I fly
Infinite wrath, and infinite despair?
Which way I fly is Hell; myself am Hell;
And, in the lowest deep, a lower deep
Still threatening to devour me opens wide,
To which the Hell I suffer seems a Heaven.

If he's a farmer why is he so impressed by a pig...

He loves it. He loves other animals, too. He'll comment on dogs, on foxes. Maybe on cats.

Can confirm Eder likes the kitty we're toting around. He's a bro.

Yah, it sounds like minecraft with content, you have obviously missed the point, people dont like content, they like different coloured blocks.
Seems to work fine with my copy. As soon as I loaded the human caravan came by and the world burst into fire.

So... I read somewhere in an interview that they plan to release Pillars as a pen & paper. Honestly, I think it's barely passable ruleset for a computer game, with a lot of flaws... it will need TONS of playtesting and tweaking. But I suspect they're just going to use it exactly as it is now.

I mean, someone released a pen&paper version of Fallout "SPECIAL" but even that needed a ton of hacking. Even the newer 3D games only have a passing resemblance to the original 1&2 rules.

I can't imagine what they are thinking:  "Player: I cast fireball. DM: Ok, what is your int and force we need to calculate radius, range and effect before we roll"

otherwise, you might as well play pathfinder with a reskinned bard and psion

Yeah, converting a CRPG system that was deliberately designed with video games in mind (IE not based off DnD, and with tons of calculations) doesn't seem like the best of ideas. Most likely they will just use another system and keep the setting, which makes much more sense.

Yeah. For example, I'm pretty sure the Dragon Age p&p game doesn't just use the rules from the CRPG.

I'm stuck in Endless Paths . . . no other save... no going back. Fall in the pit, can't win the drake and that door on the right is a hard way full of dangers I can't face !

Shouldn't you have a ton of autosaves?

Doesn't it autosave before each area transition?

If for some reason you don't have an autosave open the console and type "iroll20s" (without quotations) followed by:
"AreaTransition AR_0601_Stronghold_Exterior" (without quotations)

This will disable achievements if you're running the steam version.

Oh. You're right. Just one autosave slot, too. I save profusely and often, so I just see this huge list of saves and stupidly assumed that a part of them were autosaves.
