I'm new to succession forts in general, yes, but do all forts designed by multiple overseers inevitably degenerate into a body-filled labyrinth of chaos and despair like this? Or is this just a Battlefailed thing?

There isn't much middle ground between killed-by-dragon and never-seen-by-dragon.

Hmm, never noticed those details.

The Goblin hacks Urist in the beard and the severed part sails off in an arc.

Risen Asteshdakas, Ghostly Recruit has risen and is haunting the fortress!

This is why we need barber workshops.
This is a well crafted dwarf beard. On the item is a image of Jesus in dwarf hair.

This is why I modded hair, nail, and cartilage to have healing rates.

Oh my god, you actually made me laugh out loud.

THIS NEEDS TO BE A THING. Only not Jesus. For example:

This is a well crafted dwarf beard. On the item is a finely designed image of a dwarf and some trees. The dwarf is surrounded by the trees. The dwarf is in an aggressive stance. The trees are cowering.

There is so much scope.... I desperately want dwarf barbers now! Imagine the dwarf hair images!

Thisfox likes aquifers, olivine, Forgotten Beasts for their imagination, & dorfs for their stupidity. She prefers to consume gin & tonic. She absolutely detests Facebook.

I got fed up with my fortress, so I decided to kill everyone (abandon is for elves) with a cave-in.

OK, cave-ins were always pretty deadly, but with the new falling object damage they are downright brutal.  As far as I can make out from the logs, many people were killed by the flying bodies of other victims.  One baby's corpse ricocheted off three other people, two walls and the floor.

I would imagine beard braiding would become an advanced form of suturing and wound dressing for Dwarves' most prized of organs.

Urist McDwarf, Axedwarf has been struck down.

I never noticed the detail was that deep. I figured hair could be torn apart, but whiskers?
