GM PostJohn & Ulgurk"The price depends. Will you be heading to Mrs. Plenty's Carnival? There's something I wish I have investigated," the Quickdraw said "And as your associate said, there's also the matter of
why."
Conall & KateKate looked around quickly for something she can turn to their advantage.
Kate's Notice - Create Advantage Roll: (+)(+)(+)(+) + 1 VS 1: Success with style!
The market of Spite is always crowded and filled to the brim with stalls holding goods which might be troublesome to an unlucky gentleman on a velocipede. Why, that cabbage stall doesn't seem to be tended to right now, and perhaps if the owner return to find a mess they might even try to file for recompensation from the Constables.

For a less... destructive route, looking down from above the buildings like a particularly filthy cherub is a small figure with a fishing rod. One of the urchins of the Fisher-King.
The Fisher-King always liked Conall and Kate, and getting them to angle for the velocipede might be interesting. Of course, getting their attention might be harder than knocking over a stall.

While Kate considered her options, Conall waved at the Constable, hoping to get his attention.
Conall's Deceive - Create an Advantage roll: (+)(-)(+)(+) VS 3: Failure
"Not now, citizen, I have a criminal to catch!" It turns out the the Constable is indeed Burbon, but he seemed to be too focused on chasing down Lenny the Nose to recognize Conall.
Josephine & CharlesThe two set out to find the lodging of the academic. Following the map was not difficult. Avoiding trouble on the street, on the other hand, is a different matter.
Josephine's Notice - Defend Roll: (+)( )( )( ) + 3 VS 2: Success
Charles' Notice - Defend Roll: (-)(-)(+)(+) + 3 VS 2: Failure
Sir Charles Groovington felt his hat getting lifted off his hat and whipped back to confront the thief, only to find no one. Looking up, he sees his hat floating mid-air and heard the distant laughter of children. Josephine, on the other hand, noticed that far above them in the misty gloom is some sort of network of bridges. It's hard to make out their shapes in the dim light but there seem to be a hairy figure with a fishing rod who had hooked up Groovington's hat, and a few other children with them. One of the children took the rod from the monkey, handed it something, and then waved the rod around.
The hat isn't out of reach yet, and the urchin seemed to be deliberately keeping it at that level to see what Charles would do.
[Charles Groovington had gained 1 Fate point from The Fisher-King of Spite]
