check all doors in this hallway, for completeness. then enter the open doorway across rom our original room and look for Cheyenne, Ancho, Clover and Fennel, or information regarding these entities.

Pressing his ear up to the door, he says 'hello' back.

The voice asks who he is.

He says he doesn't really know, he just woke up here.

They say the same. They ask how he got out of his room.

He tells them about the key he found in the slot-a-ma-jig.

They say they see a rectangular outline under a mirror, but it isn't open.

He says his key won't fit the lock, but he'll try and find some other way of opening the door from the outside.

They say they'll wait.



Guess there's only one way to go.



Well, it's got a certain fung-shui to it, I guess. That's a pretty nice painting up there.

Look under the cushions of the couch. Look under the couch. Move the couch out if need be to get a better view.

((would it be better to reduce the image sizes in general? I have to do a lot of scrolling. I don't mind, but it would be easier with smaller images if nothing is lost in doing so.))

A box of cereal, a can of...gruel, apparently, and some orange juice. Maybe this place is just a college dormitory?



There only appears to be one cushion, and even that's sewn onto the rest of the couch.



This thing's heavy! Either that, or it's bolted to the floor. In any case, it's not budging against the admittedly lackluster strength of our intrepid hero.
