This makes no sense, fellow Guardians! How could you do this?

"Not a host, flabort; a pawn. If this darkness were nothing more than a force to be used and spent, why did it stop at the edge of the Milky Way? Either something or someone was controlling it even then, or it is a sentient being in its own right, with its own agency. You seem to believe that a person can be satisfied with a certain measure of power, yet from so many places in the history of the universe I can show you that power only makes a person lust for more. Are we truly conceited enough to think that our leaders are any different?

Peradon, you know as well as I that Mask is the most powerful of us all, yet he did nothing while Rhaken died in front of us. I say he should be held accountable for that."

Guardian 4maskwolf kneeled down before the other Guardians, dissipating the fields that would protect him from attack.  In unison, the other Guardians raised their arms, some reluctantly, some with determination.  Guardian 4maskwolf exploded in a burst of light as the other Guardians channeled their power into him.  What remained of his body dissolved into light, and shortly a pillar of light appeared on Guardian 4maskwolf's seat as his body was reformed once more from the first light of creation.  He stared silently at the council for a moment before speaking.

"It is time for our period of meditation, for one earth cycle, as has been agreed upon."

4maskwolf has been lynched!  4maskwolf has died.  4maskwolf has come back to life.

Night One has begun.  Please send in all relevant night actions.  If you do not wish to take an action, please tell me "no action".  If you do not have a night action, you do not need to send me a night action pm.

As the Guardians continued their meditation, they were suddenly shaken out of them by a feeling of intense dread.  They glanced around, but all 10 Guardians remained.  Discussions slowly began once more, all keeping a wary eye out for what had caused them to leave their meditations, and Guardian 4maskwolf seemed more troubled than he had the day before.

Nobody has died.

Day 2 has begun.  It will last until April 1st whenever I can end the day after 6 AM PST.

Theory 1: the darkness is a cult and there is no scum team.

Theory 2: everyone's town that resurrect on death and Mask is just screwing with us.

Theory 3: There is a killer, either mafia or a serial killer, and they were roleblocked.

They could have been roleblocked. I was either roleblocked, or the guy I targeted is immune to my action. I'm thinking its the former right now.

Guardian Flabort speaks softly, swaying his head. "Fellow Guardians, what you have seen is a demonstration that whilst the darkness destroys life and light, 4maskwolf is still in possesion of his. I reasert that only a Guardian who has forsaken his light will be found to posses the darkness that slew Guardian Rhaken."

PFP, no vote for now but later for sure.

I think that the cult idea is reasonable. It would explain why nobody was killed and go along with the flavor. I wonder if only the cult can be lynched, while town just come to life again. If this was the case, and the cult were smart, they would recruit someone right after they died because the town probably wouldn't lynch them again. Something to watch out for.

PFP
I think it's likely the Protectors have one or more doctors, at least since that's what we've been calling the non-Avenger faction of Guardians.

Mod note: since the players seem to be at a loss for how to proceed, I have sent pms to a certain number of players with small hints to the game.  Not all players have received these pms, but all pms are true, albeit vague.  They may not be quoted into the thread, but the contents may be divulged.

And no, no grumping at me, this is a part of the mechanics of the game.

I was about to ask if anyone else got a PM. Here's mine.

Not all players are as they seem. Make of that what you will.

I didn't recieve a PM, but can I interpret that as being "Not all players are actually Gaurdains, and there is two towns and a separate team"? Or that could mean some players have hidden powers they don't know about, or there's something skewy with lynch mechanics and not all player-gaurdian couplings are completely connected.
For example, if I voted Guardian Deus Asmoth, would it be potentially different than if I voted Deus Asmoth?

PFP, real vote later.

Odd. Could it mean that the scum don't know they're scum? Or perhaps players have additional win conditions they'll be told later. I didn't get a PM, in any case.
