Suddenly, a gorilla appears out of nowhere!

The gorrilla beats his chest in anger, charging towards the frightened kobold. Gregrush jumps back to evade the swift punch, and then leaps forward, swinging his large copper dagger with as much force as he can muster.

(Is it just me, or we getting REALLY off track? Meh, whatever.)

Then Gregrush stabs the Gorrila in the chest, piercing a lung, but nothing else, and the gorrila becomes enraged (lets name him G-Man) and Gregrush starts to run to the entrance of thr fortress.

Gregrush runs from the gorilla, southeast toward to fortress. The gorilla chases after him, leaving a trail of blood. They reach the river!

Fortunately for Gregrush, the gorrila can not swim, and he safely reaches the other side.

A dwarf on patrol spots the gorilla, but not the kobold, and he fires a bolt towards him

Luckily for the kobold thief, a deer turns up, prompting the Dwarf to scream in terror as it affectionately nuzzles him and bolt back towards the fortress.

The kobold crosses to the road, and spots a human caravan in the distance

The kobold tries to sneak by the bustling trade depot, but is suddenly spotted by a human merchant.
"Thief!" he screams. "He's trying to steal our cow cheese! KILL HIM!"
The two swordsmen unsheathe their iron shortswords and step forward, menacingly.

Being one of the most valuable trade goods known to man kind (and secretly, some say, a doomsday device designed to destroy Dwarven Fortresses if they ever turn on the human kingdoms...) the Guards are more than prepared to sell their lives dearly in defence of their precious cargo! They raise their swords menacingly and start to march towards Gregrush faces distorting in hot-blooded battle fury...
The kobold thief hisses in terror and bolt towards the fortress gate!
The humans, though charging, are hampered so by their heavy copper armour that Gregrush, sprinting in mad panic but slowed by nothing other than a loincloth, is able to escape their clutches!
The guards' battle furry starts to fade as they realize that their goods are no longer in danger, they turn, sheath their swrods and make their way back to the wagons to resume their vigil.
Gregrush silently, stealthily opens the Fortress gate...

The kobold laughs as he passes through the traps without taking a scratch

Gregrush quickly reaches for the brass doorknob of the large stone door, unknowing of the dwarf about to do the same on the other side!

Just before the dwarf opens the door, he gets an urgent message. "Come quick! The King has a new mandate! Twenty felsite thongs before noon!" The dwarf drops his bin full of felsite and rushes off in search for a suitable stone to work with.
