I'll aim to get the first turn up on Monday or Tuesday, then.

Kevak, I've decided to allow your character in as written, but he won't appear until the childhood phase ends. You'll be missing the chance to get resources and social links from growing up, but will have your poison/disease resistance and vision implants.

As one of the three to quickly respond with interest, I'm pretty sure you're not a waitlister  ;)

((Well, one of you didn't roll any critical fails during family creation.))

The Froggy Ninja

Dave David Davidson XXII was born the son of a priestess, a scribe, and (so his mother claims; his father was out of town) an unknown minor deity, in the city of Woodsland. His father brings in a decent middle-class income. He has a single younger sister. His family lives near the main town market-square. His father is secretly working with a rebel group against the crown, while his mother owes a life-debt to the local mafia.

Flying Dice

Jey'thronotel al'Peratanya-Belonte is a human male. His mother died in childbirth. His father became a worthless drunk, and was quickly forced to work as an enforcer for the Blood Silverbacks, one of two local gangs. They live in the sea-side town of Samsford. He is the youngest of three children. His father can barely afford to keep them housed, and they frequently go hungry. He has no other relatives living in the town.

Wipeout1024

Simone Andrea Johnson was born the daughter of a junior mason and an herbalist, in the city of Woodsland. Her family is somewhat poor, due in part to her having three older siblings. Her family lives near the outer wall, allowing her mother easier access to a small field she owns half a league outside the wall. Her other relations in the city are a guard, a small-time merchant, and a tavern wench working in the slums.

Choose a general focus for your first five years of life. Expected results are along the lines of "Make friends," "Learn all I can about everything," "Follow father around, annoying him with questions about his trade," etc. Your time may optionally be split into two weaker actions.

((This is not a happy turn. Stop critically failing.))

Flying Dice

{3} - Jethro spent the first years of his life as a street urchin. He generally annoyed and earned the ire of many adults, while learning little of value. He recieved several small scars during this time. {10} - His father had a stroke of good luck, and was assigned as body-guard to an alchemist, who got on well with him and quickly decided to hire him long-term. He now earns enough to easily feed his family, and has started to cut back on alcohol. Jethro's older brother got an apprenticeship to a blacksmith.

Wipeout1024

{2} - Simone was partially raised by her aunt. Shortly before her fourth birthday, a man broke into her aunt's house during the day and stabbed her in front of Simone. Simone spent the next three hours covered in blood and in shock. She learned little during the next two years. {1} - Her father was killed in a horrible repair accident. {4} - Her siblings all suffered through a disease which weakened them.

The Froggy Ninja

{10} - David had much better luck in his early life. His mother's co-workers found teaching him to be a joy, and he learned quickly, gaining a quick grasp of literacy and basic arithmatic. {9} - His mother "went travelling" for two years. She came back with a limp, but a strong sense of joy and freedom. {6} - His sister always manages to charm free cookies out of a local baker.

Be a conniving, clever little brat and try to learn as much as possible from the alchemist/about his work. Lots of fire on-demand from powder and liquid... s'good.
