We can't find the password my grandmother used for her computer.  Is there anything I could be able to do to get the account signed in?

Need more information. CMOS password? There's a jumper on your motherboard you can set to clear it. AOL password? Call them. Windows login password? Which version? Some versions of windows there's nothing you can do short of a reinstall. Other versions you may be able activate the hidden administrator account by booting to a command prompt, or run a third party password retrieval utility.

I suggest typing the name/version of the thing you want to recover for plus a couple variations of password recovery/retrieval/reset into a google search box. In some cases there are lists of instructions and things to try, but which list to use depends on which version you're running.
