Games that you might play when you're bored, like One Finger Death Punch, Hotline Miami, etc.

Doom and Wolfenstein 3D. Berzerk (an actual arcade game) is also pretty good for low-effort gaming, and there's plenty of ports to pick from.

... galaga? Pac-man? Centipede. Street Fighter, the old Marvel vs. Capcom stuff. Buncha stuff you'd run off a MAME emulator or whatev'. Think Metal Slug was that for a while? All sorts of old shmups I can't remember the names of. Freaking Gauntlet, obvs. Robotron, if I've not forgotten the name? Gods, there's a lot of arcade games, and most of them that actually made it into an arcade machine are... passable.

Strike Suit Zero. Mecha-space fighter game. Presents like like full blown space flight sim, handles like and has the depth of an arcade game.

For actual arcade games, Sound Voltex.  For just a casual pick-up game though, Solipskier is a nice flash game, very chill but challenging and taking no more than a few minutes to play.

I've had fun playing Ikaruga several times. Try doing the Dot Eater challenge (No shooting). There's also Jamestown which is also pretty fun, and Procyon was an okay ride.

This Doom mod called Brutal Doom. It's entertained me way more than it should've, but I keep coming back to it.

If you don't mind digging through them, there's lots of arcade-style flash games. Some sites have specific sections for them.
