neat

currently sitting on a 61% winrate in comp and feeling pretty good, aiming for rank 60. though as long as i'm in the ~top 10%~ i'll be satisfied.

Nice.  I'm aiming for 55(which I reached once, but I'd like to stay there).

Played a ranked Nepal match, was the teams mercy.  Did a bunch of heals, died a lot.  Got the achievo for rezzing 4 dudes.  Ended up losing 2-3 I think.  Lost a full rank, down to 49.

Next match was kings row, where I just sort of lob slobbed my way to victory as junkrat.  We got the cart to the end while the enemy couldn't get the first capture.  Now my rank is back where I started, 50.

Cant stand playing comp with randoms because i always get matched with braindead morons(see the mercy who damageboosted a roadhog who kept trying to snipe the whole game while ignoring healing everyone else), but i dont have a team to play with. Sads.

Here's your song for waiting in queue for comp, folks: Let's get the gangbang together... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

You'll never unhear it.

The hard AI is actually harder than human opponents. I'm shocked.

It's virtually impossible to win against it.

I tried it and it seemed pretty doable.  The AI is determined to run around in a 6 stack and has good aim but it also lacks self preservation and runs with a very limited hero pool.  I sat in front of my team as Reinhardt and we pretty much stomped.  This despite the AI cheating to apply discord even through barriers.  The PoTG was a D'VA spraying into the AI mass with her primary, not even walking anywhere, and they just kinda ran through the spray and died.

BTW, our team comp was absolutely horrible too.  Double Widowmaker, double D'VA, Zenyatta, me.  Clearly the hard AI players have their finger on the beating pulse of the Overwatch meta.

The leaver-xp thing is quickly becoming an annoyance to me.

Enemy leaves 5 seconds before I win, I get no xp. Ally leaves 5 seconds after the start, I lose, full xp lost. There is no justice.

Overwatch and TF2 seem to have come to the same faulty conclusion that players are entering into a sacred contract by connecting to a server.

It should at least measure how long certain players were connected/playing. If an enemy leaves five seconds before the game's over, it should only subtract five seconds worth from your reward.

They both made leaving a game a cheaper deal for the player than actually losing a match.  Either you play and three wins or more are nuked from your rank, or you abandon and take the 10 minute wait and slap on the wrist, no rank change.

Like, seriously, I lose a whole rank for losing A match.

It's absolutely disgusting how many gold medals I've taken in losing matches over the last 3 days. I'm down to rank 34 now. I swear matchmaking is deliberately giving me terrible teams >_<

Well, I keep reading everywhere that most people playing comp are falling in rating, so maybe it isn't bottom 1% anymore :)
