I created any adventure mode reaction to let me make this ammo out of bone

but when I throw it it only "dents the skin". Is this because bone does not make very good edged weapon? Long story short, how do I make this more deadly?

Bone is not a very good weapon material, but it is still better than wood, for what that is worth.

Though your ammo is rather small as well. Increasing its size will help it hit harder. Try moving it up to something higher, maybe around 150, and see how that works out in testing.

I increased the speed and it works slightly better, thank you for the idea about increasing the size.

Yeah, projectiles work pretty weird- when you shoot/throw, it implies a consistent momentum- this means that if you give an item a sufficiently small mass, it will have to run against the max velocity. However, if you give an item a larger mass, you can increase the shoot force to make it faster.
