Ambient Music

The eight of you are in a dark room, with no light, save for a small light bulb, illuminating the center. You are all in steel chairs, and your arms and legs are shackled, refusing you the ability to move. The light swivels, lighting a person for a short time, before swinging once more, putting them deep within shadows, and lighting another.

The light then goes out for a second or ten, before turning back on, with a robed figure standing in the middle of the circle. He then spoke.

"You all have been brought here for one reason. You have been wronged by one here, and have wronged one here. You have been brought here for one purpose. Vengeance. Your resentment had boiled over the one who hurt you, and guilt had eaten you alive for what you have done. You must put your hatred and guilt to rest, for there are three others here, who have one purpose. To devour your sinful selves, and torment you for your wrongs in life, forevermore. I tell you now, The Horror Hunt, Has Begun."

PM me whether you want to be the Guilty[Humans], or the Sin-Eaters[Monsters].

I will be using a XCOM-style play system, with a two-action turn, one to move, and one to perform an action or move further. I will be using a D100 die, with percentages based on outside and personal bonuses (Cover, Shadow, Character's a Doctor, etc)

The Sin-Eaters are much more powerful than the Guilty, so unless you have something especially powerful, it's best to not confront a Sin-Eater head-to-head.

The game will run with Spoilers, with PMs when I want to make sure something is very secret or personal. Please don't look in spoilers marked for you, it's just not in the spirit of the game. Those not playing may look at spoilers, of course.

This is open for expansion, for whatever I deem fit.

I figured this died. Anyways, for the guilty, just PM their name and what they did in their normal life, as a motif to theme your abilities and items. For the Sin-eater, same format, but tell me what they represent, this will influence abilities, items, and theme of your lair . Examples are being a hunter or a gas station manager, or for sin-eaters, a demonic blacksmith or fear incarnate. Think of the way Parisbre does character creation, give an idea of your guy, and I'll try to set that up in the mechanics. The more detail you put down, the more exact your idea of your character will be. . Not really sure about a character sheet, but expect it to change sometimes. Fortunately, since I'm using the New XCOM format, it should stay relatively the same.

Okay, so far, sin-eaters are full, and there are 4 Guilty, out of a possible 8. Would you like me to begin, and fill those positions as the game runs? or wait until we have a full roster?
