"Ummmm chell its endlessblaze here agian. You may already know but medical reports your arousel to this man is not natural. His pheromones as artificial, and seem to be a Genitc alteration in order to be a larger influence on a person. If you have already realized this feel free to ignore me."
Again chell glances at the terminal. You are coming through in text only, she must have muted all audio. She quirks her mouth, a half smile, and nods. Medical reports that her implants are releasing some kind of chemical agent which is blocking the pheromone absorption now.
[Requesting: remote query of subjects implants for useful data]
[Recommend: neutralization of pheromone cloud and counter battery to improve the empress' position]
You formulate and release an oderless analog of the captain's pheromones which should have the opposite effect, making him more pliable and/or agreeable. Medical reports that biochemically it can verify the reaction but that the man's brainwave patterns are unchanged. Strange, you should have seen some change. You could always sink a medical probe into his skull to find out what's going on in there...
EWAR attempts to interrogate the Captain's implanted systems but is getting no wireless response. A scan of the captain's body shows a hardwired data port at the base of his spine. It's possible that the implants are configured to only interface via hardline.
These people probably think that makes the system safe.
EWAR brings an EM Effector online which can manipulate electromagnetic forces at a distance. The laughably primitive security systems offer no resistance, and you get a full readout. These are simplistic mind/machine interface systems which allow the Captain to interface directly with a ship's computer and take in sensor data and tactical analysis.
You put this information on Chell's screen as well.
> Before we do anything regarding the pheromones, let's pop up a warning message with our main considered options for *Chell* to decide.
> Might be a good idea to get some turrets visibly tracking him, for the intimidation factor? At least prepare it, and prepare to fold them out as soon as Chells body language indicates attempted intimidation.
Chell has taken action herself, it would seem her implants included a chemical fabrication engine and possibly a ChemWar core. I will move some turrets over and have them built in place to pop down at need.
The two are still sitting there silently. Chell seems to be sizing the man up.
>If we have DNA records of any Dynasty personel in hight positions, then compare his DNA against records? Is he perhaps related by any chance?
What an interesting idea. A micromote slips out across the floor to collect some skin cells which have fallen from the man. Humans are always shedding skin. You can tell exactly where Chell has been through Sicily by the presence of her skin cells.
You begin an analysis and crosscheck known Dynasty profiles. Almost immediately the system flags the sample as Dynasty descended from Rus Loraseon, Chell's first son. Suddenly the man is identified as Dynasty family internally. You would not be able to fire upon him if you wanted to, unless Chell's life was in danger. Hum...
