Put CCC on for a tactical analysis, focusing on leaving as much salvageable materials as possible.
Are.. you sure? Because if I bring up CCC for a tactical analysis its liable to... um... I mean it will be very quick and very efficient, yes. Nothing wrong at all. um... nothing. Love that CCC I sure do. You sure?

Well we have the APDS, which is sort of an array of.. uh.. well it shoots plasma.

It's for killing people who aren't in vehicles.

But really it just melts everything meltable and sets everything else on fire.

Look I'm not the combat one. Do you want CognOS?

Can we try to introduce him to the concept "hypothetical".

You can try! Want me to tell him? I'll tell him. I mean I don't really care, I'm just saying... it will be very efficient.

We have already established that weapons that locals use are irrelevant.
We need repairs, and information.
This place may have both, but not if we destroy it.
A single shot to keep the ship from escaping should sufice.
Locals will most likely retreat when faced with weapons they can't resist and armor they can't pierce, making greater use of force unneccecery.
Temporary objectives updated:

*Sink the ship.
*Harvest whatever materials are usefull.
*Check for computers with possibly useful data.

The point of keeping the golems on fire isn't for the value of fire as a weapon. It's more to keep the golems functioning at a reasonable speed.

Yeah but it KNOWS more about the systems at least. Um.

And what city? The city was way north. This is some kind of military installation which is I guess using part of the old Anchorage.

Wait you want ME to do it? Like... shoot the guns? I usually just crack codes and do the communications.

Oh... uh... CCC sent a query regarding the military installation ahead. Here:

CCC Request: Neutralization of enemy installation ahead could be accomplished with minimal risk. Proceed? Y/N

Ooookay! Hey CCC get up here and tak...e....o...ut....the......b-

---CCC ONLINE---

COGNITION RESOURCES SUSPENDED

SCANNING ENEMY INSTALLATION
.
.
.
.
COMPLETE

PLANNING ANNIHILATION
.
.
.
PLANNING COMPLETED

IMPLEMENTATION IN PROGRESS

Hull 101 suddenly snaps to attention. All external constructions are discarded, including several waldo units and the intel receivers and transmitters that EWAR had constructed. ITL-5 drone planning is halted. The secondary propulsion tracks rotate in place to a new configuration to allow maximum ground contact and maneuverability.

Suddenly the Hull screams down the hill at speed, APDS guns rotating smoothly on frictionless bearings as they track targets. External sensors white out briefly, and two slagged piles are all that remain of the nearest two sentry towers. Fires have started throughout the base where the plasma bolts seared through hardened concrete to strike the ground beyond, and in fact have burned glowing tunnels several feet into the earth.

Hull 101 crashes through the exterior wall with no appreciable loss of forward momentum and the APDS fires again, and again, and again. Every shot is precise and calculated, instantaneous. There is no hesitation from CCC as target after target is wiped away cleanly by plasma fire. The plan is followed, the attack is executed. Barely 900 seconds pass from planning to execution to resolution.

Stage one complete, stage two commences. CCC engages chemical fabrication engines and floods the air around the hull with concentrated Dioxygen Difluoride gas. The very air ignites where the gas contacts open flame or heated surfaces and hardened structures begin to corrode and melt. People are running in every direction, and as they hit the cloud of gas they literally manage one or two more steps and dissolve into puddles of oily residue.

OPERATIONS COMPLETE. SENSORS REPORT NO LIVING ENTITIES OF ANY TYPE WITHIN 800 METERS. ALL PRIMARY STRUCTURES INTACT. SURFACE NAVAL VESSEL INTACT.
