let's not make tech promises yet. Chell might just get a little ... factory resetty. again.

but let's DO:
1) destroy the fleet (I don't think we need to overthink this one - just let CCC do it. It'll take thirthy seconds start to finish.)
1b)place Hull101 in orbit
2) announce the Dynasty
3) intimidate the leadership
4) send a dropship for the tech station at the pole.

chell did not do a factory reset. she unlocked the hidden functions and systems of the hull and overrode the authority of CCC.

factory reset would both do the opposite (looking back down the top secret systems, and putting CCC back in command)  and also wipe our memories

if we are worried about her getting wanting to reset us by doing something she does not like, just ask for approval .

Well, okay... A factory reset of our primary power, which in turn reset all of our unavailable systems. Not quite the same, but similar.

that's it! im getting tired of this endless debate, normally I would be fine with continuing this conversation for hours but we have a deadline people!
senticom! set this up as a poll and lets be done with it!

-shoot the fleet
-use blaze drones
-diplomacy
-create a "constellation" of cameras to monitor the solar system
- option 1 with option 2 as backup
-option 2 with option 1 as backup
-option 3 with 1 as backup
-option 3 with 2 as back up
(if you pick option 4 with something else just say so in the discussion and put what you want to add it to as your vote)

I agree on Siccing CCC on the fleet, followed by a demand to any/all world leaders to submit to our authority.

That might backfire given that the planetary leaders have apparently just spent a lot of effort seceding from a larger empire. I'd prefer if we tried diplomacy before a straight up unconditional surrender request.

A surrender request is diplomacy. They can concede to our authority or have whatever urbanisation exists glassed. Their choice.

Or they agree to our terms, and then as soon as we leave the system to expand the empire, they stage a revolt and start causing problems. We aren't exactly set up for permanent governance right now, given that we only have 2 platforms capable of supporting a subsentient AI (Sicily and Hull 101). My impression was that we don't currently have the hardware capability to expand the number of Dynasty AIs active at this time (maybe excluding the research station on Iagh). This means we don't really have a way to directly govern Iagh other than having Sicily or Hull 101 on or near the planet, which reduces our options for expanding the empire in the future.

Also, given Chell didn't instruct us to destroy the existing population, but rather convert it, my impression was that we needed them for the farming effort. Maybe that's not the case. Regardless, they seem to be pretty used to getting their urban areas space bombed, if this attack from the hostile fleet is any indication. Not sure if they'd take us seriously until we'd done significant damage to the planet, which isn't conducive to good farming.

Questions for CognOS:
1. Are we able to construct computers capable of hosting subsentient AIs in the facilities on Battlewagon Sicily?
2. Our FTL drive apparently doesn't work in gravity wells, but the enemy fleet warped right on top of Iagh right before their attack. Can we modify our drive to work the same way, or are they using a different kind of tech?
3. Who's in the drivers seat in Hull 101 now that CognOS is running the battlewagon?

Also, because I forgot to say it last post, I vote Option 1.
