Did a quest that involved after that more quest regarding a church from one of my NPC team member that also got us moving around a lot, though after the last quest i was expecting another one as the last quest of that chain didn't solved the whole point of that story but the npc does not have jobs anymore.
Oh well, at least we explored more.
Ran into a national guard camp, i had read scary thing about it, filled with super scifi flying drones with long ranged machinegun, but fortunately as i was playing in Classic mode, the camp was devoid of silly robot stuff.
It's rather huge and there's a rather huge underground too, but what served my purpose more is that it had several functional vehicle, that helped me to push my exploration further.
Unfortunately i rammed a bit too many zombies in a far away town and the car ceased to work in the middle of a huge horde.
I managed to escape but my NPC team was utterly destroyed, they took down some undead though but unfortunately friendly NPC seems to have much less AI "fighting spirit" and often wait too much before shooting or do not shoot at all before their enemy is at only a couple tiles (hostile NPC have no problem shooting at you at full range)
This regardless of the AI setting you give them in the talk menu.
Anyways, coming back to my faction camp, it was then only me and the camp manager NPC , a new NPC popped up and i managed to convince him to join my faction, that had been near annihilated.
crafted a complete bone armor for myself just in case i get again in a very bad situation.
And it was a good idea, because while exploring away i ran into something i never found before on my world
It's not signaled by a letter but by you spotting red hostile npc together like in that screenshot.
It's a bandit camp, there was roughly a dozen of very hostile npc (that shoot you at full range , unlike your friendly npc) in their walled base surrounded by landmines.
Got away badly wounded , but i guess without the bone armor the character would just be dead.
I'll have to find again a lot of NPC to recruit, and then make a night raid (as then this idiotic range advantage of hostile vs friendly NPC is nullified) and take revenge on those guys.
