For nukes, I'm not saying we necessarily should make and or use nukes, just that making crude ones would be relatively simple. On the other hand, making safe nuclear power reactors would be much more difficult, if more useful. Though, it we were to make one, the waste could be easily used for explosives...

Anyway, in the magic/technology debate, I would argue we should use more technology, assisted and aided whenever possible by limited magic. Technology follows fairly regular rules, which those of us coming from Earth are fairly aware of. Magic... Magic could just randomly melt our brains if we try to do too much.

There won't be much in the way of random player death from magic, at least not until you've been warned about a particular mechanic. I would recommend you be careful, though. Overly cavalier behavior towards anything much will not be your friend.

Additionally, I would like to request that this discussion be moved to the OOC Thread, since I begin to have time for updates, and having fewer pages to sort through would be nice.

If it seems inappropriate to use the OOC thread for a potentially IC discussion, I can make an RP talkings thread or something. :V
