Day 015

It's been about a week since I arrived, and in that time I have met a large part of the fort, traveled into the caverns, and started designing an electropower plant. I still need to ask the engineers and metalsmiths for parts, but I have the plans drawn out. I also intend to talk to Net about my 'new condition'.

The main refinery and mechanical workshops work, operated by those too injured to fight but intact enough to perform labor.  Morale is at an all-time low, with grief for the fifty dead rampant, and the miners carving tombs from the rock slowed by their own sadness.

The human merchants and their wounded remain in the entrance hall, nervously fixing their damaged wagons and hoping somebody will handle them so they can return home.
