"I think I am joust going to mostly ignore you two (Porkins and Gwolski) for a while. I am more interested in using light, than steam, and glass, rather than steel. Ninja's also interest me not at all, as they are, in most cases, useless. They have some small usage in spying or assassination, but virtually none in defense."

"On question however, where are you getting all the coal to power your steam inventions? It takes a good amount of heat to melt glass, and I would like to get working on some spyglasses, to allow people to spot intruders sooner."

"Oh, and one other thing, what raw materials are available around here? Any rare metals, cinnabar, quartz, sand, clay, coal?"

To Amp: What types of trees are there in the area? Are there any walnut trees? Those can be used for getting iodine, from the walnut husks. I would have seen any coming in if they are there.
