The construct Spark, its systems coming back online one by one, makes its way to the surface and out through the now-open main gate.  Wounded dwarves, rubble, corpses of several species, and the occasional pile of spent casings litter the battlements, rendering it somewhat difficult to navigate. Patham is among the group of those already treated, his injuries already beginning to regenerate.

The besieging forces seem to have retreated to rethink, leaving the dwarves to lick their wounds and causing something of an impasse.

Gwolf, running from his shack at the sound of gunfire, is momentarily caught in a flash of dark red light and a feeling of intense vertigo, before finding himself in a rather confusing place of quadrightic angles.

Murdoc, The Stranger, and both soldiers, disoriented by the shockwave, are now standing calmly, feeling rather strangely. Not much else seems to be visible.

Spark, after hovering for thirty seconds or so, darts off to investigate the eldritch.

The Stranger would just starting to regain mental capacity, and look at his injured/infected leg, worried that it might still be turning into some sort of eldritch horror.

Something unseen states; "The Sixth, specifically."

Quoth the senior soldier; "Dinna' ask me, Foreman. This don't feel right!"

The construct Spark, having ascertained that its creator lives, turns back to investigate the event that reawakened it, the thick smoke rising both from the battleground and within the fortress further complicating navigation.

While the veracity of the current situation is doubtful, The Stranger's leg seems to be unharmed, though the addition of an unpleasantly colorful, fractal tattoo is worrying.
