It's for a good reason, he's a squishy wizard, so if someone sneaks up from behind, he's immediately in range of attack.

Yeah, I'm going to write the prologue up soon.
Also, for the northern deserts, would you mind if the region's theme is kind of like Stephen King's The Dark Tower series? (If you've never read it, it's nothing like his other work, it's a fantasy series.)

Is it possible to get PTSD from Dungeons and Dragons?
