You could have an ASCII map and place turrets or walls to make the trolls be destroyed by mute shooters or Ban hammers which insta kill but are really expensive.

I'm not entertained by the troll, but you're absolutely right about the aggressive preparation part.  I don't entirely know what I like about it, but something about setting systems like this one fascinates me.

Hey Execute, you might want to go back into the rules and change that "false alarm" thing, because a troll attack might happen while you are offline.  Say "assume any post is a false alarm unless a first-page post says otherwise, and in all cases the most recently edited post will be the correct one" or something similar, to avoid confusion.

If Toady isn't going to take any countermeasures then I don't think a thread like this is unreasonable.  Cross-forum threats and drama is a deeply stupid idea though.

Mmm, toady has already stated that if we talk to the troll, act antagonistic, or be jerks, this thread will be taken down.
Until then, it's just to act as warning for people who are a bit squeamish or use the internet in a public place.
