((I COULD skip to the battle if you guys get a majority vote... I was just trying to build the mood, and have you bond with your characters so you're less risky with their lives.))

Delekates: "So we did it without any trouble. Great."

Kull: Damn that thing's lack of view. I hate not seeing what's beyond me.

Get out of that demonic thing.

Kull: And yes, we survived the precursor to battle. Now comes the fun part.

Castor gets out of the thing, looking somewhat tired.

"So where's the battlefield? Is this it?"

Everyone leaves the glide, to see a massing of forces below. They all bear the Blue and Yellow insignia of Astoria. There must be a thousand of them. The group makes their way down the large stone watchtower where the glide ended, to enter the forces. Thafrin leads them to a small space at the edge of the army, and informs you to wait. After about an hour of sitting around doing nothing, the glide arrives once again, and another large group of forces exits. A man clad in heavy armor rises into the middle of the throng, raises a massive broadsword, and then points to his left. In one fluid movement, the entire army rises and starts to march in the direction he pointed. "Know who he was? He's our king! I wouldn't expect you peasants to know that, though. That's why I'm here! Let's move out, the battlefield should be within an hour's walk. For those of you who took heavy armor... I pity your legs on this walk."

((Next turn will summarize the entire walk. I'm going to take an even balance of moves in short term for things like combat and RP, while things like traveling will pass quicker. Sound okay?))

Kull stretches his legs just before the March begins. As he walks he decides to sing a little song to pass the time

"So you didn't answer my questions earlier. What kind of aspects can be used? What about wood or metal?"

"Most of the aspects that are able to be utilized are things which occur naturally. We call them "Primal aspects". These include earth, fire, water, and air. There are also some more obscure ones like light and dark, which aren't too powerful. And then there are the two aspects of balance: Chaos and Order. I know the other mage in our army has studied long enough that he has done something before thought impossible, and learned both order and air. However, some aspects are impossible to learn together it seems, mostly opposites. Earth and Air will never mix, nor will fire and water, or light and dark, or obviously chaos and order. However, to make something like metal, there is a way. If there was an earth mage and an order mage concentrating their spells together, they would create metal. It's a very complex system. You seem very interested in this sort of magic. You know, you could just ask if you want me to teach it to you. It will take time, though. We'll probably have to wait until you've been dismissed. You know, you've certainly garnered my interest. I actually have HOPE that you don't die in battle. Strange."

Everyone begins marching. During the march, Delekates moves to the front of the line to assess the squad. To the left, there is about a hundred soldiers bearing crossbows and bows. To the right, there is just some random mix of weapons, mostly melee. In front of him, it seems that there is a mounted division, each bearing javelins and a heavy lance. Kull starts to whistle, earning himself a little whack on the head from a mounted soldier from behind. Turning around to express his anger, his tongue instantly becomes tied as he realizes that it was the king himself who disciplined him. He gives the king a very small, mobile bow, before hastily turning and marching forward as properly as he could. The rest of the group either walks quietly, or bumbles to each other.

About 3/4 of an hour later

Everyone arrives in front of a large keep. It's certainly not the keep at the center of the cavern, the Hold of Rightful Rule, but it's still impressive. As the army sits silently, a single horn is sounded from within, and the enemy troops start pouring out. The Astorian Army sits perfectly still while the enemies gather into unruly ranks. Then, the king raises his sword, and points it forward.

"ATTACK!"
