I have 4.29million mutagen, should I ascend and what should I spend the mutagen on if I do?

It depends if you can hold out to 244m+ mutagen or not.

Though waiting for 10m will at least give you a tiny boost.

Was going to say, 64 billion mutagen when you're at only 1.5 billion larva seems really odd. :P

On the ascension, I sorta feel like the first ascension should maybe be done sorta quickly. Although I know that people like to say that it should be held off on (and maybe it should be, I haven't like, tried to figure out the exact best way to do it.) but since the bonus larva from mutagen is so huge if you ascend right away you should be able to really quickly reach back up to where you were after your first accession after you do it, and since the bonuses from mutagen work on orders of magnitude the bonuses you get in whatever you invest in first will be pretty huge (you can easily wrack up 4+ orders of magnitude right away on something, after that it becomes harder and harder for less and less profit.)

All in all, I feel like the first accession is a pretty huge boon compared to later accessions.

I had 7 million mutagen or so on my first ascend. I ascended as soon as I could on the second one and had 555 trillion mutagen by then. Now after one day on my third start I have 2.28Qi inactive mutagen spared.

Swarmwarping 4.5 days every 15 minutes kinda helps.

How the hell are you guy getting so much mutagen? Wouldn't that require thousands of territory expansions?

There's a meta-mutation that makes hatcheries and expansions produce more mutagen.

Also territory expansions give very little compared to hatcheries.

Your next hatchery has a 20% chance to award 23,745 mutagen.

Your next expansion has a 20% chance to award 26,210 mutagen.

It's fairly standard for idle games.

I played Cookie Clicker and the probably-abandoned-now Goomy Clicker, and I don't remember having
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Though that thing was used in some of the custom idle games made with the Orteil's idle maker thing.

Well yeah, but it's not that special and generally just limits how far you can go in a given run. The meat costs are negligible for meat units, really. Larvae are your main limiting factor.
Also that really doesn't have to be a spoiler.
