Try to read it

You find pieces of the tablet on the ground below it, and a few others lying around the room.  It takes a short time, but you manage to assemble it while speaking with the others who had been stranded here.  After you assemble it, you see it is of a language you do not recognize at all.  At first that is.  After a few seconds, your mind begins to decipher it.  Letters form into words, and words become sentences.  Below is what you read from the text.
