I apologize for the delay.
Turn 29Ronald attempts to open the chest by wedging his sword into the lid and prying it open. (Lockpicking: 11) (4) He fails to open the chest this way, but his sword takes 4 damage.
Elsewhere, Svante throws another knife at the thief. (AD:6;ED:3;8,5,2) The rotting Thief is slower to dodge this time, and takes the knife right to the head, its neck snapping back at the force it absorbs. It begins bleeding 2 VP/turn. Ricard turns back to stare at him indignantly, as the knife had whizzed right by his own head.
Darek trots up to the Thief and swings his knives at him. (AD:1;ED:4) The Thief handily dodges the first swing, Darek finding himself somewhat off balance as a result. (AD:6, ED:10) He recovers and follows it up with an upward swing with his other knife, but the Thief just leans backwards in an unnatural, creaking pose to dodge the attack, and then lashes out with its own dagger. (AD:2;ED:5) Fortunately, the rotting cadaver has a slower swing than Darek, so he easily sidesteps it.
Ricard takes another swing at the Thief. (AD:1,6,3;ED:
The Thief is just too nimble for him; even in death, it neatly ducks his broad swings with expertise.
The Undead Thief barely seems to care about Darek's presence, and takes another stab at Ricard. (AD:2;BD:1,4,1;2) Ricard hastily brings his stick up to block the meandering swing, absorbing 2 damage.
Nelly continues dragging the comatose Ronald towards the rest of the group. It's very difficult and slow, as his partner is heavy and no one is around to help him.
Turn Order: Svante, Ronald, Ricard, Darek, Undead Thief, Nelly
