Ronald inspects the room. (Visual Acuity: 13) He sees nothing out of the ordinary.

Nelly targets the door with his dagger. ( It creaks weakly.

Svante goes and opens the chest. It contains an Average Jack of plates, 24d, and a red glass orb filled with swirling color.

Darek hits the door. (6) It splinters and cracks, jammed in its frame.

Ricard waits.

[Salsacookies]

"Could you leave the red thing for me?

Inspect the red orb

[Squeegy]

There's no potion, it's an orb.

[Parsely]

That meant stab the door again

Turn 24, Part 1
Ronald picks up the orb and inspects it. The glass orb is filled with swirling red colors, and no matter which way you turn it, the swirls form an eye at the center that stares at you with an unsettling gaze. He feels compelled to stare back.

"What is your purpose? You're clearly not a simple orb."

[Squeegy]

Do you want to stare into the orb?

Just waiting on Urist, by the way.

I meant to talk to it, but yeah, Stare into the orb.

Turn 24, Part 2
Ricard waits.

Nelly stabs the door again. (4) It splinters slightly from the blow.

Ronald attempts to communicate with the orb. It doesn't respond. Instead, he stares into it. The longer he stares, the more the eye formed by the orb's swirls seems to grow, as though it's pulling his mind inside it. He stands stock still as the orb begins to fill his vision, the eye inside swallowing him up, and he becomes completely motionless, eyes fixed on the orb.


He finds himself in another place, in a body that is not his own. The pain from his wounds is gone, and he is shrouded in a red mist like that within the orb. All of his possessions are still with him, but they too share his dark shade. His initiative is 15.

Broken arrows riddle the walls of this room, which still hosts a few training dummies that are falling apart at the seams.

Darek attacks the door with his hands. ( The heavy blow makes it shudder and lean inwards.

Svante picks up the Average Jack of plates, which is in pristine condition, and 24d.

Turn 25, Part 1
Ronald looks around the room. It's got a few training dummies, a trunk against one wall, and two zombies standing in place that don't seem to be paying any attention to him.
