Sarco roared out as he brought his maul around for another smash into the body of the beast, his anger focusing in on the beast and washing away the pain his body felt.

Kawtari slid her bow away and took her meteor hammer with both hands,  running and leaping off the ledge, bringing the hammer arcing down to slam into the jelly.
D8, attack slime with 2/h meteor hammer,
action surge, attack again!

Tadhg roars in pain and anger as the ooze strikes him, but the scream takes on a primal sound as the man slips into his battle rage, engaging the blobs again with wild staring eyes.

Fire Bolt Blob 3.

"Oh. No. We should stop those things before they kill our meats-friends," Samara deadpans, twisting her right hand into her characteristic blasting form again, index and middle fingers extended from her fist.

With a simple gesture and an overhand pitch, Aldeth throws a ball of eldritch energy towards the largest ooze.
Eldritch Blast on the largest ooze. If it goes down before she can act, then use a bonus action to move the Hex to another ooze and then blast it away.

Sarco roars, feeling an adrenaline rush through his system! He steps forward, launching another attack-the blob quivers under the force of the blow, it's amorphous body laughing off such attacks. If it could laugh, anyway.

Sarco +7 HP

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Tadhg matches Sarco's roar with his own, his wild swing just barely managing to hit the pudding-it doesn't do much damage, though-it's like trying to beat a puddle of water into submission. No matter how hard you hit it just seems to give way.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Samara continues her fire barrage, for meatshields everywhere-while she can't really miss, this firebolt seems to fizzle out and splash against the slime's oozy hide, instead of burning through it.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Akira sneaks a bit closer...again..

Kawtari's bow slid back on her back, and her swinging hammer comes back out-she swings it in a blurring hurricane of steel, opting to beat the slime into submission through sheer numbers of attacks.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The air seems to shimmer around Aldeth, as the chanting voices in her mind grow louder-she lets loose a terrible burst of force energy that seems to scratch the veil of reality away, for just a moment...

Her volley drives the Big Blob back, contorting and melting as tiny pieces of itself fall off, and hie away to save themselves. It's almost finished!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

---

The Oozes lunge forward, relentlessly-Sarco finds himself engulfed once more, as the many arms of his gelatinous nemesis strikes him repeatedly with long whip like appendages, burning and freezing his scales right through his armor.

The other Oozes continue to attack in concert on Tadhg-he slips into his battle rage, but as he holds off the weakened one, the second flanks him and executes a slimy haymaker on his jaw.

The barbarian blinks twice and falls down in the snow! The Oozes quiver with happiness!

Sarco -10HP
Tadhg -15HP, DOWNED

Kawtari moved to 'flank' the slimes and let out a piercing bird-cry. Hopefully, the loud sound and vibrationss of movement would lure them from her companion...

Sarco, seeing Tadhg go down, launches a desperate strike on the seemingly uninjured Ooze before him-how can you tell you're even hurting it, really? His hammer falls downward in a cometary arc, causing ripples to appear in it's slimy surface as if he tossed a stone into a pond.

This time however, the Giant Ooze starts to quiver, shudder and expand dangerously, as if it was filling with air-Sarco wisely slips away, as the monster suffers the ultimate anti-climax, popping with a *blorch*, like a carnivorous soap bubble. Bits of Ooze rain down on the area around it, only striking the unfortunate Akira-thankfully, she doesn't seem harmed by it. After a few moments, all that's left is a nasty puddle eating into the snow. Whatever else these things are made of, the chemicals in them seem to melt ice very easily.

Big Ooze Popped!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Samara switches her targets on the fly, seeing the Big Ooze go down-she burns another round hole in the medium Ooze, as it begins to twitch and quiver like the larger one. The swelling subsides after a moment, however-it's clearly on it's last 'legs', metaphorically.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Akira, stupefied, decides to finally help out-using her rougeish speed, she flanks and slime that Kawtari seems to be going for, figuring that even if these things split apart, anything she cuts off won't be very dangerous. She gets into position and sticks her sword right in there, all the way up to her wrist (eww)-the blob is obviously harmed, as it tries to split itself once more. However, it reforms itself whole again at the last moment, out of some primitive self preservation instinct.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Kawtari's screech a bird battle-cry, bringing her hammer down on the weakened blob-this final blow, while not really effective, pushes it over and done. It pops and melts.

Medium Blob 3 popped!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Aldeth casually swipes a final blast of energy at the remaining blob, blowing it into dozens of nasty pieces-it dissolves into at least a hundred mini-blobs, which scurry away with blobby fear.

Victory with two exclamation points!!

---

Tadhg, meanwhile, plays something called 'chess' with the personification of death in what is either the afterlife or a complex metaphor generated by the lingering sparks of a dying brain.

[1d20=2]
-1 DEATH SAVE

The hooded man with the bony hands watches him carefully, all but radiating fell impatience.

Carefully, Tadhg moves his little rider forward. It looks like a strong piece, and it vaguely looks like Sarco riding some sort of battle lizard. And he's playing white, the color of goodness. Surely that's an advantage. ANd...

"...IT MOVES IN AN 'L' SHAPE. 'L' AS IN LOVE." Death reminds him. He forgot that for a moment.

He makes his play. Hah!

Death shakes his shadowy hood in good natured reproof.

"POOR MOVE-TUT TUT, CHUM. I'LL JUST HAVE TO TAKE THAT." Death says, moving another piece across the board (it seems like a shapely woman with a scepter-looks like Samara, actually, and the saucy piece actually winks at him) to move all the way across the board and destroy it. Sarco gets blown to white chunks by the Black Queens magic.

Uh oh.

"YOUR MOVE, BUDDY."
