I must have failed my reading comprehension check. Because I can't figure out what he means by

"=We would help you in this manner, if you desired it.="

Does anyone know if this is referring to the deep guide, or just the shelter for the moment.

I guess it was confusing that he meant they couldn't send anyone of theirs, or pay the Deep Guide for you-but they could arrange one to help you.

Condition: Conf.

You can roll or take average.

I humbly request that you roll for me so you don't have to distrust me when I invariably roll up 12s over and over again. Is that okay?

But how can you trust me if I keep rolling less than 12?

It's a riddle!

Also, you got a 5.

I think I'll just take average. (The book notes it as average+.5, that okay, or do we do alternating?)

My stuff:
5+2 HP
Pact Boon: Pact of the Tome
Your patron gives you a grimoire called a Book of Shadows. When you gain this feature, choose three cantrips from any class's spell list. While the book is on your person, you can cast those cantrips at will. They don't count against your number of cantrips known.
If you lose your Book of Shadows, you can perform a 1-hour ceremony to receive a replacement from your patron. This ceremony can be performed during a short or long rest, and it destroys the previous book. The book turns to ash when you die.
+Spells: Darkness, Invisibility, Detect Thoughts, Phantasmal Force, Spare the Dying, Dancing Lights, and Thaumaturgy.

5+2 HP
+1 spell slot
+2 spells known

2nd circle:

+Flaming Sphere: V, S, M; 1 act.; 60' range; 1min dur (concentration): 5' diameter sphere of fire appears within range, lasts for duration. Any creature which ends its turn within 5' of the sphere must make Dex save, 2d6 fire damage on fail and half on success. Bonus action: move sphere up to 30', jumping 5' tall barriers and 10' width pits. Ramming the sphere into a creature forces the saving throw and damage, stopping the sphere's movement for the turn. Ignites unworn/carried flammable objects, sheds bright light in 20' radius and dim light for a further 20'. Add 1d6 damage per spell slot over 2nd.

+Misty Step: V; bonus action; Brief burst of silvery mist around self, teleport up to 30' to an unoccupied space within line of sight.

With CON bonus or without?

edit: Also, I forgot I wanted to say I was spending some hit dice while we rested. Do you get all of the dice or roll them?

Didn't add CON bonus.

Also, I don't understand your other question. You expend how ever you many hit dice you want on a short rest-I roll those, you regain HP. You need a LONG rest to regain all your short resting hit dice. Got it. :P
