Mizure hears the voice. When did my life turn into a manga? she thinks. Doesn't matter, badass time. Mizure stands, spitting out some blood. Her eyes have gone the color of flame.

"Thy blood is magma, thy hand is flame... COME, KAGU-TSUCHI, AND BURN MY FOES TO ASH!" the last part is screamed, as a woman appears behind Mizure, her hands (as implied) on fire, and her clothing seemingly made of obsidian.

Drake walks around confusedly, looking for the group.

Treant uses Zia again.  Asada considers attacking it, but hangs back considering how little damage humans had been doing.

Turn 3
As Mizure rises, her Persona radiates with power, soothing her pain and wounds.

The Awakening has healed Mizure for 100 HP.
Virgil heads over to give Mizure medication, healing her for a further 36 HP. Samson’s Garu misses.

Maria’s Zio is now on target, this time dealing 12 damage!

Nadeko’s spear attack only hurts for 1 damage. The Shadow doesn’t even seem to notice the attack. Medusa’s efforts are better, healing Mizure for 67 health.

Sokurkhan’s blessed flames enshroud the Shadow, dealing 239! damage! It’s a critical blow, but the Shadow, somehow, remains standing.

Norn misses her attack.

Kiyoshi’s attack is just as pathetic. So pathetic, in fact, that he slips and knocks himself down again, as the monster has dodged him. The flames of the Sun Goddess are more effective, dealing 54 damage.

Treant’s lightning deals 35 damage. Not bad, all things considered.

Mizure’s command causes Kagu-Tsuchi to surge forwards and blast the Shadow with almighty flame….which fails terribly as she misses.

Drake stumbles back into the fight.
Enemy Turn
The Shadow lets out another ungodly roar and smashes into Maria with his fist, dealing 89 damage and knocking her down.

It then delivers a flurry of punches to Maria, Tohru and Drake, dealing 56 and 37 damage to the first two and missing Drake, before repeating it’s three punches on Maria, Virgil and Nadeko, missing Maria and dealing 56 damage to both of them!

”Watch out for Maria and Virgil, they’re incredibly close to death! I’ve scanned the Shadow at last.

It seems to have an incredibly powerful regeneration ability, and it seems like it resists physical attacks. It doesn’t actually seem to have a weakness, either….”
