"Because apparently my wanting to help protect someone is a bad quality for a leader."

"No no, that's fine.

Charging unarmed into a situation you know nothing about, getting knocked back and then charging in once again, however, is not.

"I knew plenty about the situation. I wasn't in danger of getting hurt, and there was still a threat."

"Indeed, that's why you were heavily injured and did nothing to the shadow without your Persona..."

"you didn't know that when you first got hit by magic lightning." By now his bat is bouncing in his hands and his eyes are shifting back and forth between the door his teacher and the group.

"Well, Biraindo is getting eager to do get into action, and I'm with him on that.

I think we should be split into two groups right now by Aisaka-san and Kyousuke-san, and figure out a leader out of the rest of us later, if we find the need.

"Dude, you caused no damage to the thing before Samson popped out your head, and you yourself got slashed and knocked down by it. If it weren't for the others with you, you'd probably be dead."

"And again, none of you guys damaged it either so that's point is moot. And I still didn't get hurt when it hit me. I really don't see the point your trying to make here."

((you did, lost 78HP by my count :P))

"My point is I don't want you as my leader because you're too gung-ho.

If anyone wants you in charge, they're welcome to you. I'll be on the other team.

Nana cleared her throat, and after a few seconds began to talk.
"...not Virgil, he charged unarmed at a giant samurai. Not Karma, he caused everyone to fight each other. Not me, I don't like talking. Asada is one of the most levelheaded. Biraindo doesn't WANT to be leader, but he doesn't seem to be unreasonable. I vote for Asada and Biraindo."

Nadeko raises her hand, "If I may make a suggestion. I would like to nominate Maria and Myself for leadership of the groups. It's obvious Maria has been doing this for a while and I at least have experience in making hard decisions that would be required as a leader. A leader has to be decisive, wise, and cunning. They must invoke trust in those that they lead. The only people here that I would trust is Virgel, Maria, and Kyousuke. I at least know they have the resolve to make the decisions."

"I don't recall Virgil being wise, cunning, decisive, or trustworthy....And I forget who you are sometimes. How long have you been standing there?"

"Tch, I didn't cause everyone to fight..."

"Nadeko, the fact you trust Virgil probably means you don't have the wisdom to be a leader."
