Nana totally pauses for a few seconds, before she quietly starts to speak, to the girl next to her.
"Uhm... can you tell me about the cards now?"

Branson sits alone as per usual, eating his lunch, secluded in his own thoughts. There was a significant overlap between the people with cards and those who were called up, though it seemed rather idiotic to give people cards if they were just going to get called up anyway. Making another cursory examination of his card-turned-bookmark, he softly groans at the prospect of getting caught up in yet another act of school-sanctioned idiocy.

What now?

The fact that they apparently bothered to make these cards and mail them, at (hopefully) their own expense probably meant that whatever they had in mind was probably more troublesome and irritating than usual, a far from welcome prospect.

Virgil wanders around school. He doesn't eat lunch normally.

Drake disappears in the shadow of a tree, taking his lunch with him (Man, you guys can do a lot while I'm gone). He materializes again at the foot of the tree, eating his lunch quietly.

Asada eats her lunch in silence, just like every day.

Virgil decides to do something new and sits across from Asada.
"Howdy."

Asada looks around as if expecting that he's addressing someone else. "Hi?"

Drake fidgets a bit. He then gets out a book and begins to read. The book is titled 'The Calamity (note: not an actual book, or the title of one I know)'

"Um..." she actually looks at him, "I think so."

"Pleasure to meet ya miss, I'm Virgil."
