Maria loads her musket.

Kyousuke's next communication goes out to everyone.
"By the way, if all else fails, one can defend using their Persona to resist attacks. This also prevents one from being knocked down from attacks, too. I know the advice would have been useful earlier, but I didn't expect it to be needed right up until Yoshida was knocked down quite a lot."
In lieu of an attack or item action, one can use their Persona to defend themselves, reducing damage and preventing them from being knocked down by a non-critical attack. However, they will be unable to attack that turn and a critical attack or an attack with a Knock Down effect will still knock them down.
Both teams advance down the stairs and encounter their respective enemies.
Maria's team sees a student being slowly cornered by a large Shadow in green armor, a large spear in its hand and a torn cape billowing behind it. It doesn't seem to have noticed them yet, as it seems to be focusing on the student alone.
Kyousuke's comms turn on here.
"Be careful. That Shadow is stronger than the others you've faced thus far. It'll take me a bit longer than usual to scan him, so be wary. Also, if you can, get the student on your side. I can sense his Persona is about to awaken, so make sure he isn't dead before then.
I'm counting on you guys. Good luck."
Asada's team, meanwhile, sees three giant demonic eagles, their beaks being replaced with twisted clock hands and their eye sockets empty but for blood-red gems, screeching at them.
"Be careful. Keep in mind that you can also defend from attacks, but you will not be able to hit back if you're defending. My analysis will also take a little longer to come, as these Shadows are more resistant to my Persona's abilities than others.
Good luck. I'm counting on you all to do your best."
Meanwhile, the student is slowly backed into a corner by the giant creature approaching them, running out of space to run.
However.....in the back of his head, he can hear a voice calling out to him.
"Summon me, master. Call upon my strength and I shall protect you."
You feel at this moment that you can utter an invocation of power to bring out this entity, whatever it seems to be.
((SB, your cue to come up with a badass invocation to summon Amaterasu with.))
