I don't think any of the polls had anything to do with Karma being a dick, they revolved around whether or not he was a jackass.

Jackass means idiot. Dick means unsavory person. :P

Yeah, he's basically a conglomeration of the negative emotional aspects of several people I know in real-life, stuffed into one person and given a relatively short fuse. Not exactly someone I'd consider to be that pleasant or cheery.

Actually I just think that the person who established his school of thought on people was a winy prick.

Which one? Nihilism or Jungian psychology? Because his rant was a weird mix of the two.

Though Nietzsche wasn't exactly consistent.

Well, I'm going to bed, try not to lynch Karma. Or if you do, at least clean up afterwards.

Hobbes had more to do with governance and how people sacrificed their freedom to a state in return for protection and order because humans were innately assholes. Jung was more about how people needed a mask of sorts to socially interact and that without one, they'd have problems. Nietzsche just kinda stood there blowing his load indiscriminately and haphazardly.

I dunno. He certainly spoke well, even if it was supposedly inconsistent.
