The issue is not the coordinates, the issue is you only have four move and you're trying to move 6 squares. Remember that moving diagonal isn't a thing. You're on 8-16. To get to column 10, you need to move two squares over. To then get to row 12, you would need to use four more move. So you can get to 8-12 if you want assuming the cave sides don't cost more mov or you can get to 10-14
