I was playing the demo for hoots and giggles and we managed to get a team of 4 charge blade users (being the demo we were all identical)
We did the Tetsucabra and took it down in about 2 minutes. It was glorious.

I've been murdering millions of Chameleos. I need his carves, I need a large elder dragon gem (that given my luck I probably will not get since I actually need it), and I need his g-rank relic charge blade drops.

One thing I've noticed is that polishing charge blade relics seems quite unfair. Every other weapon can be polished quite easily with common stuff. Charge blade? Ho ho ho... 3 of the rarest abrasives. 2 apex gems. Whyyyyy?????

At least this helps me with my money situation.

My money situation got much better once I noticed I had over 60 dalamadur steel in my inventory. Not sure how I got so many, but I'm not complaining.

I can just imagine the hunter going 'Whoops, forgot about this 20 tons of steel I'm carrying!'

Yeah, I always enjoyed how you can carry a maximum of 10 bottles of healing liquid and up to 99 huge monster heads/wings/tails/whatnot.
Not exactly sure how I should view materials. Are they small pieces? Are they tokens that can be exchanged for the actual monster parts after the guild cuts up the monster? Is your bag a magic bag of holding, but the potions are outside for easy access?
So many questions, so few answers. Unless I missed something.

A tile can hold one dwarf or 99 prone dragons. Your point? =p

I think it works like this:

1. You pay fee to guild for the hunting permit.
2. This fee pays for the palicos that cart you, the stuff in the box, transportation (?) to location, etc.
3. After you murderate a monster and cut off little bits here and there, the guild transports the monster back.
4. Guild sells the monster corpse / collects bounty, gives some parts to you and your share of the profits.

So the "monster parts" basically exist in hammer space or is credited to you until the actual transaction takes place.

Don't forget you get twice the fee back once you complete the quest. And yes, your correct with that list. I'll add in that everyone else can buy monster materials except you.

Holy shiiiit.

I just spent about 7 hours in a single guild quest room with the same guy killing Chameleos. I think we went from 124 to 138. The last three levels were brutally difficult as people kept joining, dying, then leaving. I am still using my Seltas armour and people kept asking me to be kicked, so it was extremely amusing to see them get owned but I still prance about totally fine. Skill > armour scrublords.

That being said it was really, really hard. I didn't realize there is basically an upper G-rank that monsters will transform into past 136. The loot becomes amazing but by god, it's like fighting Gogmazios + S. Magala. I've never, ever had to fight a monster where I needed to sharpen my charge blade 4 times in a fight. And I have sharpness decline halved! It blows my mind to think that if I didn't have that, I would have to sharpen EIGHT TIMES. That's crazy.

Right now I'm swimming in Rarity 9 relics. Should make a good chunk of money. Also drowning in Chameleos parts.

After selling 108 Chameleos hides, I made about 900,000 monies and got the millionaire achievement. Then, using the leftover Chameleos stuff and some Molten Tigrex stuff, I made a set for gunner. This set cost me half that 1,000,000 monies. This didn't include the weapon, which I think cost me 300k in the past. Holy crap, stuff in G-rank is expensive.

Also, heavy bowguns in g-rank are so frigging strong.
