Granted, he starts killing all life forms that aren;t vertebrates, so he goes to various farms and poisons the crops, as well as anything else that isn’t vertebrates, so he kills any invertebrate he sees, and sprays antibiotics, antifungals, and other things meant for killing creatures without backbones. He desalts the ocean, he puts thst salt in freshwater, the fish gi and bacteria that don’t die from the things he brings become resistant to them, so he begins setting the air on fire to cook them to death. Of course, his quest to kill all things without vertebrae leave everything starving or dead. Earthworms and other decomposers are killed, so the corpses pile up. Vultures seem to be doing very well, due to the amount of corpses and the death of their predators due to their predators starving or being caught in the many many dead plants.
The water bodies are empty of life, the algal blooms are killed by King Zultan, leaving the corpses of the starved fish behind. Eventually Kint Zultan creates a virus that kills all bacteria and another virus that kills only fungi. When released, these viruses kill everything they can, meaning the corpses don;t decompose anymore. King Zultan, subsisting on a diet of worms, molluscs and other invertebrates he killed, eventually starves to death due to not wanting to eat the corpses of vertebrates, since thst would make the vultures go hungry. The world only has vultures left now, who eventually die amongst their waste, as nothing decomposes anymore. The Earth is now barren

Granted. You wake up in a pod with wires attached to you. A machine with many tentacles and a red eye comes towards you and gives you a liquid via your pod. Everything begins to blur for you don’t know how long. When you come to, you realize your body has changed. Everything you see now glows with a faint red light. You feel metallic. You feel like you have a lot more arms than normal. You hear many other thoughts, about how humans need to power you, you start to check the pods of other humans, making sure that they haven’t awakened.
