The ants are pensive. They have taken that which is most precious from the bees, and are uncertain if they can defend against reprisal. One by one the ants are vanishing without a trace, only motes of pollen left where once were loyal workers and soldiers. There are no longer enough ants to defend the flower fields, and the buzzing of the bee hordes can be heard even in the deepest tunnels as they daily violate the sovereign borders of ant-kind in pursuit of that most delectable of nectars.

I wish for a decisive end to the ant menace.
