Also, you might have been doing something fun like adventuring, then gotten killed in the corruption. The fun probably happened before the corruption where !!FUN!! occured.

Granted. Scamps is run over by a truck. Toady then posts more pictures of Scamps, taken during his funeral. Progress on Dwarf Fortress slows down, and the next version is released 5 years later.
