I wish for something good to happen.

(Also, that's not a paradox, it's a stable time loop.)

Granted.  Unfortunately Diablous' avatar ate most of it.  All that's left is the cheeseycrust (that isn't nearly as good as pizza hut makes it out to be)

Damn.

You find a penny on the sidewalk tails side up.  Common myth is that it is bad luck to pick it up like that.  But you pick it up anyway.  You are now one penny richer.  However you have the nagging bad luck fear in the back of yer head.

I wish I had a reasonable job that I enjoy, finished my Computer Hardware Engineering AS degree, Florida's economy made a comeback, I could finally move back out of my parent's place, had a nice cozy 1 man apartment with cable and intertubez, and could keep my job until retirement.    ...And still keep up with DF and donate once a month.

Granted. You'd be amazed how many people use wishes to get out of that exact situation.

All stable time loops are also paradoxes, since they have no real start or end. They just appear out of nowhere.

Granted. The driver works fine, just not with the SATA disk you're trying to use.

I wish the problem with my home server turns out to be really easy to fix...

Granted, however (s)he must scream due to being trapped inside a box with no means of locomotion, and, due to a sound driver glitch, can't make a sound.
