Granted. they overrule much of his decisions however, and the final game comes out looking like a dumbed down World of Urist.

Granted.  However, suggestions made in the past also cease to exist.  Arena mode dissapears, as well as 'rewalling'.  Aboveground megaconstructions are no longer possible, because without the rewalling suggestion, constructed walls, floors, and etc would have never come into existence. 

I wish for the Cosmic Forge from wizardry 6-8.  And my own personal android butler to spout cryptic messages to visitors.

Granted, but after an accident at the Cosmic Forge, the android butler's cyptic remarks is interpreted the wrong way by the fire department that responds and they leave, while hilarity and horror ensues.
