Wish granted. For two consecutive years of your life, you will see, feel, hear, and eat purple. For the longest time you will consider an anomaly until the sheer longing for another color, any other color, starts to pervade your life that you can no longer work. You descend into the very depths of poverty paying for expensive cures and expensive doctors, gradually wasting away, muscles, brain, and all.

Your doctors recommend you eat, rather insistently, but you refuse and involuntarily vomit up anything you do eat by mistake or otherwise. It IS an enduring life, and you get many rewards, but living among the elves for the rest of your unnaturally extended life with no way to leave... Some would question your dwarfness if you ever escaped.
