Granted, everyone chillaxes and puts off everything, eventually causing sewer systems to flood and power to go out and letting nature take over buildings. Like what happens in The World Without Us or whatever it's called.

Granted. Thankfully you didn't, but as you stepped around the corner, after seeing a hapless goblin attaching the 'cursed amulet of restful sleep', you come across the hillgiant Husiod. He notices you and smiles, with open arms he says "Mommy?", you reply "No, I am but a man, I cannot be your mother." Husiod stares at you with the now obvious naive look in his eyes, he starts crying. Well done, you made a baby hillgiant cry. I just wish you did put that amulet on.

Granted. Your gramerz improves to the point where it is better than anyone else's. You get a job doing gramerz and it pays well, but you end up spending all your time working. Your life falls apart, and your wife leaves you. You descend into alcoholism, every night passing out after hours of sitting at your desk under the harsh lamp. Staring at the loaded pistol in the open desk drawer, gleaming against the background of green felt and loose bullets.

I wish Cthuhlu had realized the second necklace wouldn't have worked, even if cursed, because he was currently wearing the previous cursed amulet.

Granted, those were two separate characters, so your wish is wasted.  Should've went for the Blessed +7 Grayswandir.

Also, why would a gramerz worker keep a loaded gun in an open desk drawer right next to where he works?

Granted. You begin to have the most shocking, violent and terrifying nightmares any human being has ever had. Elder beings and hellish devils siege your psyche nightly in twisted, living, moving landscapes.

The next day, you find a lottery ticket on the ground, and claim first prize: a life-time supply of peanut brittle. However, your horrible nightmares included peanut brittle in some obscure, half-remembered way and as such you faint in terror anytime you approach it.

I wish I had a magic carpet.

Granted. But on your first trip skyward your magic carpet snags on the branch of an olive tree, and slowly unwinds. Before it's too late, you realize and begin to descend carefully. As you gracefully touch down on the pavement, a speeding garbage truck smashes into you and screeches to a halt. Your final memory is a wave of garbage water rushing over you and into your mouth.
