An Oreo cookie falls out of the sky and hits you on the head.  Fortunately it didn't hit you very hard so you pick it off the floor (5 second rule) and eat it anyway.  However you discover that the frosting in the middle is not very good.  Perhaps it is a new flavor, but whatever it is you can't place it.  And the cookie is left half-eaten.

I wish I had a Vulture C mech from mektek's mechwarrior 4 with dual gauss cannons, as well as all the papers necessary to legally own it in the United States, and a safe, legal stockpile of all the fuel I would ever need.  My own Talon dropship would be a bonus.

Granted, but the military is amused at its incredibly puny weapons range and lack of over-the-horizon ability, and uses it for target practice, conclusively proving that science fiction gets overtaken by reality within ten years.
