Granted.  The process requires liquefied ethylene and a positive pressure chamber, and is very expensive, but is completely safe.  The ethylene however, is hard to source, and the pressures required are onerous. Degassing the liquefied LDPE without causing voids is very difficult.  The unit is also very large, and consumes a lot of electricity.

Granted. The entire world is now made up of actually sane, reasonable, and considerate people. This makes hiking rather awkward, and the smell gets unbearable in a few days. Everyone walking around on top of the giant people-mass is still the same as always.
