Granted, Kim Jong Un disappears, four minutes later reappearing in Mordor. Sadly, this is because Middle-Earth has appeared on the planet, and now we've got to contend with legions of yrch.

Granted.  Your dog has the vocabulary, and (mostly) the same interests as a 3 year old with hyperactivity disorder, and repeatedly asks you over and over and over and over again for treats, walkies, and-- disturbingly-- (should you fail to spay or neuter)-- to let them go have sex.

They do not understand the concept of "no", and instead interpret it as "not right now", where "now" varies from a few minutes, to a few seconds, before they start asking again. They are also prone to learning and using profanity.
