Granted. It is made of solid steel plated with gold and wear-resistant mechanisms, and a layer of chemically inert, tough-as nails insulation. Not one bit of it is plastic or features any form of computer circuitry or software that could hiccup and ruin everything, nor pathetically short-lived paints or coatings, it needs no lubricant and the power requirements are within acceptable limits given it's job is to convert electricity into heat and apply it to whatever you put in the holes, of which it has four. Each toast port has two dials for temperature and time settings tuned to the highest possible accuracy, and changing them actually affects the outcome.

However, the plug in requires an adapter, and the adapter isn't cheap.
