I wish people in DF would fight back. Since the new release they seem to just stand there as I hack away at them.

Granted, they fight back so well, they hit you with their swords five spaces away even when you're sneaking.

I wish for apple demons.

Granted. You have apples possessed by demons, which then possess you when you eat them. They are also impossible to resist the temptation to eat.

Granted. "It" turns out to be a hostile eldritch... thing.... "It" then comes and brutally decapitates you, before assimilating with what's left. There's a moral here, kids, in that you should never summon eldritch creatures via wishes always worship them until they finally bite your head off and assimilate you.

I wish my grandmother would stop talking about cherries and how I must like at least one variety of them.

Granted, she begins talking about all the types of caviar and how you must absolutely love one type, and begins force feeding each to you once a day until you pick your favorite, which you'll have to then eat every Tuesday.

I wish that the moon would crash into Earth.

Granted, though a kid in a green tunic suddenly seems to be everywhere and four giant creatures come out and stop that from happening.

I wish I would stop losing soldiers in X-COM.
